2008 WVTA PAC ENDORSEMENTS
By John W. Smith, Jr.
May 1, 2008

Recently each of our members should have received the mailing concerning Political Endorsements for the upcoming election. This was the first of such endorsements and we are still working on finding the most efficient and effective process to endorse the candidates deserving of our endorsement and ensure that we continue to endorse those that "Support" the issues of the WVTA.

The WVTA PAC Committee provided a lot of hard work on their personal time to comprise the list that was disseminated. This list of candidates from across the State listed, either sought out the endorsement from the WVTA, or were selected from prior actions reflecting the support that they provide towards the issues of the WVTA and commitments towards helping the WVTA with advancing the principles of proper law enforcement. I am sure that this process will become more efficient as time passes and hopefully we do not overlook deserving candidates that are deserving of our endorsement.

The WVTA PAC has endorsed the following candidates. The candidates selected have been supportive within the past or have expressed their support with issues of concern with the WVTA.

Early voting for the Primary Election is April 23-May 10, 2008. The Primary Election is May 13. urge each of you to support those that will support us.
